ABOUT THIS STORY
Welcome a little one with a story made just for them
Welcome to the World is a keepsake about love, belonging and the small wonders waiting to be discovered. A little elephant and a gentle companion travel through morning sunshine, birdsong, a rainbow and a sky full of stars.
Tender watercolour illustrations and your child’s name woven into the 24-page story make it a gift that can be read now and kept for years.
Who it’s for
A newborn gift, baby shower present or welcome-home gift from grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends.
What’s personalised
Your child’s first name appears on the cover and throughout the story. Add your own dedication or use ours: “For all the little discoveries and big adventures ahead. May you always know how deeply you are loved.” Choose a Blue or Purple cover.
Good to know
Do I need the baby’s photo?
No. The elephant illustrations are the same in every copy; only the name, dedication and cover colour change.
Can I order before the baby is born?
You need the name to order, so most people order once the name is chosen.
You might also like Goodnight, [Name] and The Penguin Promise.
A few details make it theirs.
Check the spelling of their name, choose the available format and read the delivery estimate before you order. Personalisation options vary between books.
